This raffle is dedicated to the Walker family, to support Matt, and his children, Ruth and Jesse, after the tragic passing of thier wife and mother, Meghan. Meg fought her cancer journey bravely, but sadly, on 3 October 2024, her time in this life drew to a close, and she peacefully passed away.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Meghan Walker on 3 October 2024. This tragedy has meant that Matt has lost his beloved wife, and Ruth and Jesse, their mother. We cannot comprehend this loss, never mind find the right words. But what we can do, is love and support them. Therefore, this event will go ahead to assist with the medical costs that are still being billed during the time medical practitioners were trying their best to give Meg a little more time, and also contribute to Meg & Matt’s children’s trust fund, which is in the process of being established following her passing.
This event is STILL dedicated to the Walker family, to support Matt, Ruth and Jesse. ALL VOUCHER SALES will go towards supporting Meg’s family to assist them with medical, educational and counselling costs as they begin to adapt to life without her.

The safari will begin from Lusaka Airport, Zambia. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be collected and transferred by road to Nanzhila Lake Camp from a 2 night stay. Activities will include game drives, walks and boat cruises.
PLAINS CAMP
After 2 nights at Lake Camp, you will be taken on a game drive / road transfer to Nanzhila Plains Camp for a further 2 nights in the southern plains of Kafue National Park. Activities will include game drives and walks.
TAITA FALCON LODGE
After 2 nights at Plains Camp, you will be driven down to Taita Falcon Lodge in Livingstone. The route will go past the Victoria Falls allowing you to witness this incredible spectacle. Your stay at Taita Falcon Lodge is for 3 nights giving you plenty time to add extra activities in and around the Falls.
LUMBE POOLS CAMP
Following your 3 nights at Taita, you will be driven to Lumbe Pools to experience the tranquility of the Upper Zambezi and explore the Sioma Falls. Try your hand at tiger fishing and even a pontoon sleep-out before returning by road to Livingstone Airport for your return flight.
– All road transfers from Lusaka Airport to Lake Camp, Plains Camp, Taita Falcon Lodge, Lumbe Pools Camp and Livingstone Airport – 10 nights accommodation at the camps mentioned above – All meals and All activities listed at the camps above – Park fees in Kafue National Park – Entrance fees for the Victoria Falls tour – Drinks in the Kafue camps (Lake and Plains camp)

The winner will be contacted via email no later than the 5 December 2024 after the competition ends.
Should there be no reply to an email within 14 days, the prize will be re-drawn
